Job Summary:

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be a part of a team responsible for Strategic Sourcing activities, with a focus on client management, category management, and supplier management, in support of the Shanghai Disney Resort. You will work alongside other Sourcing Specialists/Managers and will be accountable for partnering on and supporting Shanghai sourcing initiatives that achieve value without compromising business strategy and performance. You will participate on cross-functional teams responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing programs and contractual arrangements with preferred suppliers. You will perform bids, manage supplier relationships, work closely with Clients and Stakeholders and will be responsible for identifying and capturing cost savings. As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will continuously improve the Company’s procure-to-pay process by identifying and leading efforts with affected departments to reduce cycle times, improve customer service and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies and best practices. Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances.
• Demonstrate Leadership in managing sourcing projects to fulfill operation needs and impact financial bottom line.
• Continually assess market conditions and develop sourcing strategies that maximize value to the Company. Analyze marketing industry trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external suppliers and/or pricing.
• Organize and execute whole process of RFx in online platform of Coupa.
• Evaluate supplier proposals based on pre-determined selection criteria by partnering with stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations following pre-defined strategy.
• Responsible contract draft and approval by collaborating with stakeholders. Manage the contract life cycle and seeking continues improvement opportunities during contract renew process.
• Understand and assist in the development and execution of supplier relationship management program to evaluate cost, quality and service of suppliers and follow up improvement plan.
• Evaluate total cost with deep understanding of cost structure of product/service to identify opportunities to capture saving opportunities.
• Communicate and report to management the status of any critical external relationships that could affect planning and decision-making.
• Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of current industry best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Full time bachelor’s degree required in engineering discipline, 985 universities are preferred, and 211 universities are accepted.
• Mandarin native, and fluent oral and excellent in written English.
• Strong learning capabilities and could adapt in dynamic environment. Open to switch between different sourcing categories by learning category essentials quickly.
• 5-10 years’+ experience in the strategic sourcing disciplines or business environment.
• Knowledge of sourcing process and category management in facility and engineering, be able to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in vendor qualification, online bidding and contract management; strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficient in office software and ability to frame high quality reports.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and ability/desire to work in diverse environment.
• Strong inter-personal skills and be able to interact with and establish relationships with employees at all levels.
• Internal customer focus – ability to identify/solicit key stakeholder needs and develop solutions to address their needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced working environment as part of an efficient team.
• Ability to think independently and be able to solve challenging problems.

• 了解并协助制定和执行供应商关系管理计划，评估供应商的成本、质量和服务，并跟进改进计划。
• 深入了解产品/服务的成本结构，评估总成本，找出节约机会。
• 就可能影响规划和决策的任何重要外部关系的状况进行沟通并向管理层报告。
• 参加专业发展活动，了解当前行业的最佳做法。
