Description:

The Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will be responsible for leading and managing operations of the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Food & Beverage Team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating initiatives to support the Shanghai Disneyland Resort.

The Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will recommend strategies and priorities to continually improve the process of sourcing and procurement of food & beverage category

The Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will be responsible to ensure supply chain food safety, IP compliance, supplier diversity and meet company’s environmental goal with no compromise

The Manager will also ensure consistency in approach, the quality and depth of analysis, during the strategic sourcing process.

The Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will be accountable for leading business unit sourcing initiatives that drive reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without compromising business strategy and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and lead strategic sourcing initiatives that consider all business drivers and their impact on operations, customers and competitors
• Evaluate total cost/supply chain management analyses to establish project budget, manage approved budget and identify opportunities to reduce TCO
• Manage strategic sourcing processes, including market assessments, RFP and bid strategy development, change management as well as vendor performance assessment.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract development for goods and services
• Interface with Shanghai Disneyland Resort Business Food & Beverage stakeholders to fully understand key drivers of sourcing group
• Leverage synergy opportunities across functions, businesses and sites
• Participate in SHDR and BU planning process
• Manage staff and drive internal skill/capability development to broaden and build their skill sets and capabilities
• Provide appropriate rationale and context to drive commitment
• Engages colleagues across the organization to optimize performance
• Communicate sourcing status and results to Director and executive team for key decision making
• Translate strategy into specific priorities, objectives and action plans
• Support Director in working with suppliers to help identify and resolve issues and improvements and cost savings opportunities
• Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers, partners, government agencies
• Demonstrate best practice supplier management and sourcing/supply chain practice across SHDR

• Ability to assess market trends
• Knowledge of best practices in strategic sourcing
• Demonstrated knowledge of the global market drivers that control and influence product prices
• Excellent working knowledge in the related areas
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese and international supply base including raw producers, manufacturers, processors, fabricators, distributors and convertors
• Experience working with both a centralized product development team and individual unit operations.
• 10 years’ above experience in leading/managing strategic sourcing team focused on construction, hospitality or service in a multi-tiered supply chain environment
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or another quantitative discipline preferred
• Internal/external business consulting experience desired
• Willingness to travel (Position is located in Shanghai, but may require up to 25% travel)
