海外市场经理负责制定和推动上海迪士尼度假区在中国以外的所有间接销售渠道的销售策略、产品开发和客户优化的执行。

- 与内部合作伙伴(如市场、收入管理与分析、运营等)的领导团队建立密切的工作关系,以制定和调整上市战略以实现业务目标;确保产品策略和促销策略对上海迪士尼度假区和客户互惠互利;并解决与游客抵达前和酒店销售相关的复杂运营问题;
- 负责团队总体支出预算的财务管理,尤其是团队与签约合作伙伴一起投资于渠道促销以推动业务的联合推广预算。
- 在资源有限的情况下,该职位及其团队必须不断优化资源分配,并审查每个客户的分配有效性。 除了管理签约合作伙伴外,该职位还必须建立和扩大非签约旅行社的业务,以推动未来几年的收入增长。

Job Summary:
The Manager, International Sales is responsible for formulating and driving the execution of sales strategy, product development, and account optimization for all Shanghai Disney Resort’s indirect sales channels outside of China.
Reporting to the Travel Trade Sales Director, this role is instrumental to the sustainable business growth of multiple contracted distribution partners, and other non-contracted distributors, who contribute a significant portion of Shanghai Disney Resort’s attendance and room night production. The team that the position manages is extremely dynamic, with team members positioned in key source markets in the APAC region.
The Manager, International Sales and his/her team must drive all business development efforts to facilitate sales conversions from all these partners and bring guests from International Markets to Shanghai Disney Resort. The Manager, International Sales and his/her team must constantly adapt to evolving business environments in different markets by formulating appropriate strategies and tactics to mobilize these partners in order to meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and formulate key sales strategies across all indirect vacation and leisure channels for key International markets; coach and motivate managers and their teams to implement such strategies to achieve or exceed annual admission and room night targets consistently;
- Manage existing Trade Partners and identify new Trade Partners and e-Commerce Platforms to further grow International markets for Shanghai Disney Resort;
- Build and maintain the business relationship with key leaders in the travel and tourism industry in order to keep abreast of relevant consumer and industry trends, identify new opportunities, and formulate appropriate strategic moves in response to such trends;
- Build a close working relationship with executive leaders of partner Lines of Business (such as Marketing, Revenue Management and Analytics, Operations, etc.) to formulate and align go-to-market strategies for meeting business goals; ensure product strategies and promotional tactics are mutually beneficial to both Shanghai Disney Resort and clients; and resolve high-level operational issues related to pre-arrival admission and room night sales;
- Ensure fiscal management accountability for the team’s overall expenditure budget, especially the COOP budget that the team invests with contracted distribution partners in tactical channel promotions for driving business; with limited resources, the Manager, International Sales and his/her team must constantly optimize resource allocation and review the distribution effectiveness of each account. In addition to managing contracted partners, the Manager,
- International Sales has to build and expand the non-contracted travel agent’s business to drive incremental revenue growth in the next couple of years.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent command of Chinese and English are mandatory. Effective presentation and business conversation skills are essential to the success of this role, especially the ability to communicate in a highly organized, persuasive, confident, and credible manner when dealing with executive-level partners in the travel trade;
- Have leadership capabilities to manage a remote and diverse team;
- Preferably experience in the airline, hotel, cruise or travel industry with strong commercial, project planning, budget management, presentation, leadership, and team management skills;
- Good liaison skills for business development and building partnerships (internal and external);
- Have strong business acumen and logical thinking, and the ability to develop business cases and use research and data to identify business opportunities;
- Strong analytical skills, sensitivity to numbers, including sales data, and user behavior data;
- Strong problem-solving capability to handle complex business development challenges in different market;
- Ability to drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal responsibility.
